The installation of crane runways must be carried out in accordance with the design with the following data:
- distance between sleepers;
- gap between rails;
- minimum radius of curvature on curved sections;
- method of fastening rails to each other and to sleepers;
- type of rails and maximum load from the crane wheel;
- type, cross-section and length of sleepers;
- presence of pads between rails and sleepers, their design and installation method;
- material and dimensions of the ballast layer;
- gear for grounding the crane runway;
- permissible values of the total longitudinal slope, elastic settlement under the wheels, as well as tolerances for the track width and the difference in the level of the rail heads.
The readiness of the crane runway for operation must be confirmed by the acceptance certificate.
Checking the condition of the crane runway and measuring the grounding resistance must be carried out in accordance with the established regulatory documents.
